NEW FEATURES ADDED TO WEB SITE 6/21/2008
  • ONLINE REWRITES - You now have the ability to process your rewrites online. On either the Policy Inquiry List or the Expiring Policy List, you will now see a column labeled "Rewrite". If a policy is eligible for rewrite, the word "Rewrite" will appear in this column. Just click on "Rewrite" and you will be led through the quote and application screens similar to a new business application. Make any changes you wish to make and submit the rewrite application just like you do for new business.
  • ONLINE CLAIMS REPORTING - If you need to submit a loss notice, you now have the ability to easily do this on the web site. On the Policy Inquiry List, just click on the Claim link in the column labeled "Submit Claim". Fill out the Claims Reporting form and press the Submit Claim button to submit the claim.
  • ELECTRONIC PAYMENT (ePay) - You now have the ability to submit your premium payments electronically. Print, fill out, and mail us the ePay Direct Debit Authorization form, which can be found on the forms page, or by clicking here: ePay Authorization Form. Once you sign up for ePay and we process your ePay Authorization Form, you will have the option of making online payments for both new business and rewrite applications.
IF YOU HAVE NOT WRITTEN POLICIES WITH SCWHUA, READ BELOW:

This feature is only available to licensed producers who currently do business with the South Carolina Wind and Hail Underwriting Association.

If you do not currently do business with SC Wind and Hail Underwriting Association, and you would like to write policies with us, you must complete a W-9 Form and fax it to our Underwriting Department at (803) 779-0324. We require the following:
  • The W-9 Form (click here for a copy)
  • The agency's physical street address
  • The agency's mailing address
  • The agency's phone number and fax number
  • The SC agency license number (issued by the SC Department of Insurance) if other than a sole proprietorship
  • A SC licensed producer's name and producer license number
  • A valid email address

If your email software does not run properly when you click on the above link to request a User ID and Password, you can request a User ID and Password by sending an email to ashley@scwind.com with the following information:
  • Your producer name and matching 6-digit SC Department of Insurance Producer License Number
  • Your SC Wind and Hail Broker Code, which is a 3 or 4 digit number that can be found on a declarations page near the agent name and address
  • Your Agency's name, address, and phone number
